Well, since we’ve been gone a few days, I had left things as closed up and covered as possible. The majority of the boat was covered with a tarp. The front was mostly open, but the foredeck is sealed and the hatch cover was resting in place. That should handle most any shower we get.

A little was expected to get in the anchor well area which was uncovered, but it wouldn’t be bad.

Or so I thought, until we had 4.5" of rain today. Not only did it come in the anchor well, it flooded the foredeck and I think was over the top of the hatch coamings. The boat was FULL.

Pumped for nearly 30 minutes to empty things out. No particular harm done that i know of, but…

Time = 45 minutes
