An interesting blog post at Never Sea Land points us to this great mini-ship. I got my start with boating building small remote-controlled boat models. Many people continue to build these, more and more detailed and larger and larger. I came very close to following that path, but instead life led me to building a "real" boat.

Well, this gentleman has combined the two. William Terra built a model of the German WWII battleship Admiral Graf Spee. Able to carry 2 people, his "model" is 30′ long (longer than my build!) and includes the incredible detail you can only provide on a 1:20 scale model. The hull is strip-built similar to a canoe. Mr. Terra of Maine has done an incredible job.
