No, not really true lofting, but rather drawing frame layouts full size. This helps me to get dimensions sorted out and be able to measure from a full-size drawing, which seems more accurate for this type of thing than scaling from a 3/8"=1’0" drawing. Lofting from offsets isn’t required with Mark V’s designs; he has already lofted from the table of offsets and the plans provide dimensions on the plans of the pieces you need to cut. I still am drawing some pieces out full size because I find that easier, but that may just be me.
