Ben Crawshaw has a nice little personal blog… he’s building a Gavin Atkin’s Light Trow.
The Invisible Workshop is a nomadic, exterior boatbuilding space, at present situated in various corners of a semi-public garden in north-east Spain. This blog documents the prototype build of the Light Trow. The builder has a reputation (unfounded in his opinion) of giving, like a cack-handed Midas, an asymmetric air to any woodworking project he touches. But that particular buck stops here. On these pages you can expect to find progress reports on the build, posts about boats in the area, sea and boat stories, anecdotes about Catalan culture and cuisine as well as photos of the sea.
