Recently the Backyard Boatbuilding mailing list has had some discussion of how hard it is to keep a "build log" web site updated as you try to work a job and work on the boat… very true.
These ladies have really been the exception that proves the rule. They are building a large Bruce Robert’s designed steel sail boat… and doing it all themselves, and in the "great white north" to boot.
Their web page is broken up into "days" of work, with details of what was done, materials used, problems encountered, etc. Currently they are approaching 375 days. The amount of work involved is impressive (on the boat and the web site). Updates occur in "batches", so if you don’t see it change for a while, go back later.
Very impressive boat that they hope to launch later this year, I believe.
