Trailer work

In some ways I think I should start another blog just to deal with the trailer work, but I'll spare you :-)

My Dad (thanks Dad!) has launched into the trailer mods with gusto. I don't think I will recognize it next time I'm down there.

So far, as I understand it, he has the design pretty well worked out, the upper racks cut off (the turnbuckles were rusted on) and is getting ready to cut the vertical posts down to the height we need.

Yesterday he also got the forward two crossmembers (which had been bent when I got it and which I bent a bit more during the homecoming debacle) straightened back out. We're going to add some bracing and a skid plate to that area for future impacts.

Time = 4 hours (?)

Boy, I feel dumb now - I removed the link

Bryan,

Sorry about that... I managed to remove the subscribe link. It should be back now, over on the far right under the "search" box.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake.
