Managing the Waterway sale
Submitted by cac on Thu, 2011-08-04 11:29Many of you may be familiar with the Managing the Waterway cruising guides and resources. They have some good stuff. Diane passed on that they are having a sale to clear some inventory, so you might want to check it out.
Our son is going off to college and Mark and I have moved back aboard full-time.
Unfortunately, we're in Virginia and our fulfillment house in Minnesota is relocating. We need to move our inventory out the door rather than paying other people to move heavy boxes of books for us. read more »
Nautical Terms - The Sailor's Word-book
Submitted by cac on Thu, 2011-07-14 21:41Interesting looking book, and if you can deal with a Kindle format (you can do that on a PC, tablet, etc.), then less than a dollar.

Classic Boats - parts, restoration and sale
Submitted by cac on Fri, 2010-05-07 22:38Found out that these are the people that restored yesterday's beautiful ChrisCraft.
Also learned that it's a 1938 Chris Craft (Mahogany) and has a 427 V8.
This outfit has various craft and parts forsale. Check them out if you have a classic boat, or want to buy one.
They also have some good data on identifying your craft on their Hull Number Listing page.
Dutch Boats
Submitted by cac on Mon, 2010-02-01 22:37Not really a boating site, per se, and not in English, but if you want to see some nice looking Dutch boats, check it out. I really like the "look" they achieve.
54 Bolger Pilothouse - "L'Tranger"
Submitted by cac on Tue, 2010-01-05 22:28One of the largest Bolger designs I've ever seen, and definitely the largest I've seen actually in the water. Neat looking, although like most Bolgers, a bit different.
Lot's more pictures at the link.
