If you are interested in boats, you have probably dreamed of the "big boys" at some point. Kind of interesting to read some of the blogs that several of these megayachts have started producing.

OK, not for me, but proves that some people can still think outside the box, if nothing else.

For those times you want to dream about the life you'll probably never have, and are probably better off without.

Even so, sometimes seeing how these types of yachts are equipped can give you some ideas.

PassageMaker Magazine's most recent issue has a couple of responses to reader letters by the head of Independence Green Yachts. Don't know for sure if they will produce, but it looks like they are on the right track to making a fuel cell/solar type yacht. read more »

Having a high-end yacht is certainly not proof against accidents, as this blurb in Practical Boatowner shows. I can only hope to never go aground quite this spectacularly.
