Tom Daniels has an incredibly detailed blog covering some great detail in wooden boat building. I was very interested to see some detailed pictures of HOW to make some of those parts fit. I have done woodworking, but usually furniture/cabinets/house walls, not stuff with curves :-)

He also has a very nice glossary of boatbuilding terms which is a great reference, especially if you are starting out.
