It's designed for low wind speed, low cost applications, but looks to me like it could be really nice on a boat. Low cost (always good), low wind requirements, I would expect it to be fairly quiet, and no moving blades to hit you in the head. read more »

Submitted by cac on Tue, 2009-12-22 15:41Another take on wind power... my Dad sent it along suggesting it for my boat. A full size one (20') seems it might be a bit big for me, but a smaller unit (or a bigger boat) and it might be just the thing.
