Sea Shadow to be scrapped

The Sea Shadow was a testbed of the U.S. Navy for stealth ship technologies. She's been out of service since 2006 and the Navy wasn't able to find a museum willing to take her on. read more »
World's First Aircraft Carrier - Pictures

In late 1910 and early 1911 the first takeoffs and landings onboard ships were successfully performed. This article has some interesting pictures of the USS Birmingham, considered to be the world's first aircraft carrier.
