An interesting site with a listing of various river outing and vacation cruises on the European canals. Several of these look like a lot of fun.

The Glass Boat restaurant is an old barge, converted to a high-end restaurant and moored on the river in Bristol, England. They also offer plans (including a 50-60 page book of instructions) and/or kits for some of their designs. I especially liked some of the detailed writeup on their FAQ page. Worth a read if you agree with it all or not. read more »
