The urban exploration stuff has always fascinated me... I covered some ships/boats previously. This is another set of pictures from Russia. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, there are all kinds of things that seem to have been abandoned.



Ships in the snow is something I hadn't seen before.

A commercial photographer that specializes in sail craft. Some really impressive work. I enjoyed looking around his site (even if I tend to be a 'power' guy).

Most of his work is for sale if you want prints, etc.

It seems like many of us are attracted to boats at the sad ends of their lives. Wrecks, abandoned hulls, whatever. Urban exploration has grown more popular, or at least with the Internet its easier to share these intrepid adventurers' travels.

This photo collection is a great set of pictures of a bunch of early 20th century boats that are way past their glory days.
