U.S.S. Slater - Destroyer Escort

Being privately owned by a non-profit organization, they have used volunteer labor (retired Navy personnel and other interested folks) to restore and renovate the only WWII destroyer escort still afloat. read more »

Check out his descriptions and pictures of some great boat and shipbuilding tools with a real history that currently live in a working museum.
