Journal of the Molly B

I found this link on the previously mentioned Buildboats.com. Tom also has an interview with the Molly B's builder accessible from his "Spotlights" page.
Anyway, Thomas Schmidt is home building a 40' trawler "the traditional way"... wood frames, laid up hull, epoxy coating, the whole nine yards. His web page offers a fairly detailed build log, or you can order a self-published "book" for the total nitty gritty. I have read through most of the on-line portions with entries dating back to 2002, including several hurricanes, building collapses, etc. Its interesting reading and well done.
Makes the "book" tempting :-)
