Finally back at it - painting

Printer-friendly versionSend to friendPDF version

Didn't work all that long, but did actually get some things done this afternoon. Started by removing the rear cabin door window frame pieces from their temporary mount and planing on them some. Cut the window groove in the upper curved piece that was still lacking, and then painted them.

Moved around the boat doing other painting and touch-up of the burgandy paint. Rubrails got another coat and are looking fairly respectable. The front and rear roof overhangs got some paint on the bottom of them and various and sundry little areas.

Time = 1.25 hours

Restoring my boat

I am about to start restoring my boat to. Planning on making it more creative by using glass etching techniques on the windows and giving it a whole new paint job. Hopefully I'll start on it soon. Procrastination sucks!

Little bit at a time

I know that feeling... I enjoy it when I get to going, but sometimes its hard to start. I like the idea of the etching... that sounds slick. Send some pictures and we'll put them up for people to enjoy! Bruce

Other projects on top of glass etching

Then there my project of finishing my 68' Firebird. Project and projects. I just need to finish and focus on one at a time. I'd think that would be cool to post my glass etchings up. Where do you want me to submit them?
