DB Fletcher Furniture Design has a couple of different "folding" and expanding table designs that have to be seen to be believed.

They are aimed at the HIGH end yacht, and I would love to have one in my house, but the neat idea and craftsmanship are certainly worth checking out.

Their capstan tables are beautiful.

The "rising & furling tables" are a slick design that gives me ideas :-) (yes, I know they have a patent pending... don't worry)
