George Buehler has a great collection of craft (there are several links to his work on this page already).
I've recently added some further information and links at George Buehler Yacht Design and Diesel Ducks.Pro's of his designs:
- Shippy looking
- Steel or wood construction
- Geared around amature construction
- Displacement speed
- Offshore craft (mostly)
Con's:
- Deeper draft
- Not as much room on-board
