David has undertaken a Flapdoodle folding dinghy. He has also been kind enough to put up some highly detailed web pages chronicling the construction with pictures and text. Also make sure and check out part 2 of his build.

The Flapdoodle design continues to be optimized/modified and looks to be an interesting little craft. If I decide to build a different dinghy than my Origami, I may have to try this design. I see how this boat-building stuff gets addictive; there's always another design you want to build :-)
